Cosmino Panteo is not an individual development, because we rely on standardized components so that our software solutions can be easily developed and updated. However, Cosmino Panteo is prepared in such a way that individual solutions can be mapped quickly and easily. This simplifies implementation and further development – and makes them faster, cheaper and more stable, especially in comparison with MES monoliths.
Individual solutions thanks to a standardized modular solution kit
The respective solution is not standardized, as the requirements of our customers differ too much. Instead, we rely on a modular system with standardized components with which data entry dialogs and other program parts are put together. A uniform operating and design concept and prepared standard processes for common applications further simplify dialog creation.
Components for master data, evaluations and background functions are also extensively available and offer the best options, even for complex requirements.
The software must adapt to your process
Rarely does a standard process prepared on the software side fulfill all customer requirements. This is why it is assumed today that in MES and PDA projects, around 20% of the functions used are developed or adapted individually for just one customer.
This is due to the fact that company processes and requirements are too different to be mapped in a standard software in a prepared, parameterizable way. Since MES and PDA work very closely with the process, most software adaptations are necessary – unlike with ERP.
