COSMINO AG at the SPS smart production solutions in Nuremberg from 08.-10.11.2022
This year, COSMINO AG will be exhibiting at SPS smart production solutions in Nuremberg from November 08th to 10th.
At the joint booth of the MES Association in Hall 5, No. 158, Matthias Kohlbrand, Product Manager of COSMINO AG, will show the latest developments of the MES solution for the Smart Factory, but also possibilities for savings in production.
The Role of Digital Twins in the Manufacturing Process:
The term MES developed in the 1990s for a software to collect data. Today, MES not only collects data, but is also in constant alignment with planning, ERP, warehousing, logistics, etc.
The requirements for availability, process adaptability, and usability have increased along with them and have thus led to an evolution of the system architecture. Today, Cosmino MES relies on a network of Digital Twins to exchange data and control the material flow for each item. To optimize human interaction with MES, which has also increased, Cosmino MES dialogs provide assistance and coordinate processing.
