The Cosmino Preventive Action add-on-module provides you with support for planning and performing activities affecting the operation of your machines. Scheduled idle time, such as preventive maintenance measures or plant meetings, will not affect overall equipment effectiveness (OEE). Activities that take longer than scheduled will result in wastage despite this.
With the help of the Cosmino Preventive Action module, you can schedule idle time with a fixed duration using a calendar for your various machines. The scheduled appointments for these activities will be clearly indicated by the machines and at the workstations. The actual duration will be measured. If these activities take longer than scheduled, the excess will be recorded as a loss affecting OEE.
Scheduling and performing scheduled idle time makes organization easier and allows differences in expected and actual time to be measured. Preventives measures also provide support for high equipment effectiveness and increase the lifecycles of your machines.
