Flexible and user-friendly: optimally equipped for the digitalization of production with the new Cosmino data acquisition dialog
By susanne.gutermuth@cosmino.de In The new data acquisition dialog from COSMINO AG in Nuremberg is so flexible designed that it is suitable for all data acquisition and worker assistance tasks in production. This is possible thanks to a widget library from which a programmer can quickly and therefore cost-effectively compile the required elements for a data acquisition dialog. Thanks to the modular principle, subsequent changes can be made just as easily and flexibly.A clear principle in the dialog design is the user-friendly and at the same time innovative operating and design concept, which is strictly adhered to. Every new widget and customer-specific variant is subject to these and other principles. In this way we ensure that the requirements of ISO 9241-110 for software dialogs and user interfaces are met.
Widgets have also been prepared for the customer-specific display of data in the data acquisition dialog, which anyone can easily adapt themselves without any programming knowledge. These widgets enable the display of any data and key figures for the workstation or from production. For example, the display of the current order with the associated quantities, the OEE of the current shift or the name of the logged-in user.
These or other data and key figures can be added, moved, deleted, or changed with just a few clicks. The flexible design allows inserting of headings, individual names, separators, size adjustments and more. The configurability is secured via authorizations, so that once the data acquisition dialogs have been created, they cannot be changed again by any user during production.
